Mauliébris offers a selection of meticulously handcrafted products made entirely in France. These delicate pieces are created in two workshops located in the Jura region, which have specialised in the manufacturing of luxury hair accessories for more than 40 years. In addition to its rich heritage, Mauliébris gives its pieces a touch of creativity and innovation by incorporating techniques from other industries such as eyewear, jewelery and leather goods.
Each item bears the distinctive "Mauliébris" hallmark, certifying its authenticity as a "Handmade in France" creation that meets the highest quality standards. This involves the careful selection of materials, ensuring the durability of the decorative elements such as crystals, and meticulous checks to verify the proper functioning of closure mechanisms. All our hair clips feature our famous Vogue-approved anti-slip protection, which helps to protect the hair and prevent the clip from slipping.
Mauliébris hair accessories are crafted using premium materials, predominantly from Europe. The acetate is made in Italy by the renowned manufacturer Mazzucchelli 1849, rings are made in Essonne near Paris; and metal punches come from the Trevise region.

The acetate is skilfully cut and milled to give shape to the product, revealing its intricate colors and adding dimension to it.
The bending process is carried out using water and an oven, which adds a third dimension to the flat acetate plate and gives the final shape to the piece.
The acetate then undergoes a meticulous polishing process. It is placed in barrels filled with wooden beads for several days, allowing it to attain its desired shine and velvety texture. Finally, the acetate is polished manually using chamois polishing mops.
The entire assembly process, including the application of rhinestones, setting of metal parts, and application of decorative elements, is all meticulously carried out by hand by our artisans. These skilled craftsmen and craftwomen employ precise and scrupulous techniques to ensure the highest level of quality and artistry.
