Mauliébris (rare): Relating to what characterises the feminine or women

Rooted in Latin etymology, the name Mauliébris celebrates a vision of femininity that is free, multifaceted and constantly evolving.

In Paris, a hairstyle is never merely functional. A loosely twisted chignon, a strand left undone, a barrette worn like a piece of jewelry: a few instinctive gestures can transform an entire look. Mauliébris captures this distinctly French je-ne-sais-quoi through hair jewellery that feels elegant, modern and subtly rebellious.

Designed for everyday life as much as for exceptional moments, Mauliébris pieces bring character to the hair without making it feel overly styled. They adorn, hold, sculpt or release it, becoming understated expressions of personal style. It is the French approach to beauty: polished but never rigid, sophisticated without appearing overdone.

Founded by Axelle Raffin, formerly of the House of Alexandre de Paris, Mauliébris is first and foremost a design studio. Drawing inspiration from jewelry, fashion and the organic forms found in nature, the brand reimagines traditional hair accessories through contemporary lines, sculptural volumes and unexpected combinations of materials.

Each collection explores the expressive potential of Italian acetate, treated as a precious material and paired with brass plated in fine gold. Designed in Paris and handcrafted in France by skilled artisans, our luxury hair accessories combine beauty, function and individuality.

Hair clips, barrettes, hairpins and combs become pieces of jewellery in their own right: delicate yet distinctive objects created to enhance the living texture of the hair and transform a hairstyle with a single gesture.
